Zalmy - maybe you should rent the 67 before you make any decisions. Many things I don't feel like buying or know I just want for a little while I rent from Samys - they have a ton of film gear for rent (CFi lenses, RZ stuff, etc) and it's way more fun and less costly than buying and making a mistake.
Hi Guys, I need your opinion on a small issue I have. I received yesterday my first developed Agphaphoto APX 100 from the lab. I think it is quite overdeveloped, so much so that my scanner is not able to see through the dense negatives, and the images are quite overexposed despite all my efforts. I thought about talking to the lab but I am sure it will only make things worse. However, despite the processing issue, I find this film tonality and fine grain is amazing, so I am thinking to shoot it at iso 400 and let the lab do their usual processing. What do you think? Has anyone here used this film? Do you agree with my thinking? Please let me know.

Thanks man. It's pretty far down my list (unless I see the 75 for a good price, then I'll jump on the rest)... but I hear you.
And nice xpan shots, especially the first. That is a camera I am lusting after...
Edward, that approach would only work if they are consistent. Maybe the next one they develop too little. I would have a friendly chat with them about what happened. They might claim that their development is perfect and you exposed wrong (in which case go elsewhere) or agree that they messed up, in which case judge your action on how you feel about their answer.

Thank you Carsten. Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of another lab option. This is the only pro lab in the city, and they are quite arrogant. I believe they are consistent with their development times judging from previous experiences, hence my idea to adapt my exposure/iso rating to the development time. Of course the most sensible way is to have a friendly chat with them, but I'm afraid they would reply exactly as you said.
Shot a roll of portra 800 last weekend, a first on 800 speed portra for me. All on a srt201 with a 50 1.7. Nothing special, just tooling around town and some family shots
Katie: nice dog on a stool. haha. Thanks about the screen. I wasn't sure if the C.Fn. worked for that screen since the screen came out after the camera. I'll probably get one now.
