Zalmy- coming from mostly metal SLR cameras and MF monsters , this is pleasantly light and easy to use. All the controls are right where they should be - and other than having the rewind un-rewind on me, it was all easy and intuitive. It fits nicely in my (girl) hands without a grip and hangs around my neck or shoulder without pulling.
Focusing is almost as easy as with the mamiya, but I'm noticing that the higher shutter speed numbers are harder to see in the sunlight (not that it matters as I'm using it in AE mode anyway).
The lens is quite sharp wide open (from my one roll) and slow shutter speeds are easily hand hold able....Show more →
I'm not sure why it took me so long to get an RF as well. I've suffered years with an SLR.

I have it and don't understand how to use it, so I still use the Epson scan. You using the newest version? Is it as complicated as the old version?
My scanner, Reflecta Proscan 7200, is not supported by the version 8 so I got the 6.6. I have to say it is not very intuitive and I have downloaded a demo in the past but didn't like the user interface. But there are so many people who believe it to be the best scanning software so this time I decided to be patient and learn how to use it. Unfortunately I bought the cheapest version (49 euros) which has everything I need, except I can't save in 16 bit tiffs, so I will have to upgrade it as soon as I find out which version does. The resultsvare the best I have ever obtained from scanning. Much better than commercial labs. It's like I have a new scanner

Thanks!
Jewced, I really like those delta tones (especially the second, even though (or maybe because) its underexposed)
I can't, but the previous sets always reminded me of him. That's why everyone likes Baghdatis, even after he smashed 4 racquets he started smiling.
His fans are definitely crazy, always a band of them cheering him on. Cool to know you like tennis Katie. I wish I would have played it seriously but instead played hockey.
totally unrelated to film, but both tennis and hockey are wonderful. Used to play tennis at USTA level for a few years, and have always loved hockey(russian upbringing)
Played USTA for years and only quit when I had my now 3 year old. I should start again ... It way more fun than the gym!
Glad to know there are other tennis fans here.
Speaking of that - there was a picture of Sam Stosur in the paper today and her arms were MASSIVE. Like nadals left arm massive.
