I guess it would depend on how your large your scan is but it should be pretty quick to get out. If you wanted I could give it a quick go when I get off work.
The actual scan is pretty large. looking at it now I could probably do it in photoshop in a few minutes. I just hate leaving lightroom... I'll fix it and update it later..
I've no clue about the movie (hello google), but obviously Zaitz has quite the eye
need to see that movie too, somebody around this forum thought one of my shots reminded them of it too (that's awesome katie).

Zaitz, okay, okay. I do a lot of family shoots, should/could I post those here also? I'd love to do a series of 8x10 portraits... one day

Corposant, your Mamiya 7 + 43mm + Portra 400 combo works spectacular.
Where do you put focus, are you using hyperfocal distance concept, or focus the foreground?
I am asking because I am about to try my M645 + 35mm for similar scenes.
It depends on the scene, however I never rarely use hyper focal distance focusing - if I do, I always stop down one more stop beyond what the DOF scale on the lens says is infinity.

I bet mike (corposant) is glad to see others posting as well. And zaitz too. Sometimes this thread is just them and I feel like I should contribute more.
The more the merrier - this thread is a great diversion from the "let's dissect every new product release" and "let's compare the image quality of two unreleased cameras." Oh, and don't forget "new camera X has either a third or a half stop better high ISO performance - let's debate." Here, it is (or should be) about the fundamentals of photography that create great images - composition, lighting, exposure, and timing - because you need all of them to work if you capture onto film.

You mean we're not here to debate grain structure and highlight retention? I'm out...
Heh - you can if you want, but since film manufacturers are not pouring $ into new film R&D, you could only debate the differences of what's currently available, which is all pretty awesome.

Sebboh - where were these pictures taken?
A couple of abstracts from the local rock yard:
nice shots, i'm disappointed not to see kirk running along that rock ledge or bill & ted being cast off of it though.
the first shot is of isola santa in the alpi apuane mountains (italy), the second shot is san gimignano, and the third is of the seat of zeus on the summit of mt olympus (in greece not washington ).

Glad to see you still posting here Sebboh! Like the P&S shots, too. Amazing what little bitty cameras can do, huh?
I like family shots, too.
And OF COURSE keep posting your kids' shot - otherwise it will be just mine, since that is 75% of what I shoot. When you are a Mommy to young kids, they are with you about 90% of your time - how can you NOT shoot them? Plus, I like to think my kids are pretty easy on the eyes, too.
if you insist, here's a couple of my daughter on tri-x with the trusty old xd-11 and rokkor 24/2.8:
Here are a few from a recent Uncle Bobbage (well I wasn't really taking pictures of the bride or get in anyone's way or anything, just a few from where I was standing...)
