Also, at least cemetery related, Rose City Cemetery is the resting spot for many of Portland's Romani population...which only reminds me of the bubble I live in -- i've lived here for many years and I am not sure that I've ever met a Romani person.

Shortly after we met, Andie bought a little one bedroom house that was four blocks from Rose City Cemetery. At the time, the cemetery was in the City of Portland but the other side of NE 57th at Fremont was a sign indicating that was the city limit.
