I think I found my 35mm film spirit animal - the Nikon F4S. It is all dials, and locks for those dials. Little switches, buttons, and steampunk good looks. I experienced the absolute best green dot auto focus confirmation dot I have ever seen. Bright, backlit - with red arrows indicating the direction for correct focus.I think I should have a Puppy Linux steampunk looking dog, but my cats would go nuts All shot wide open at f2
I went out with the Retina IIa and the last roll of Fujicolor 400. It must have been a different employee that ran this roll through the processor. There were water spots and for some reason, I couldn't seem to get the white balance and ended up using a couple of different NLP color profiles. I didn't meter as often because the OLED on the Reveni Lumo is hard to read in bright light and the little numbers around the lens are difficult to see unless I hold the camera just right. I did pretty well keeping the camera level but there are a few that needed straightening.
You are so lucky to be surrounded by color - which looks good to me. The Retina did a fantastic job on your last roll of 400 - thanks for sharing these.
