A bit of a repost from the Pentax 645n. These are my own scans using a Fuji GFX, and Pentax 645 macro lens. Previous post was lab scans. Pentax 645n, Velvia 50 by Geoff F, on Flickr
What happens when the shutter switch is on B instead of N (the switch is on the bottom of the camera and should be checked that it hasn't been moved...)
You tint it in LR and make a triptych!
I'm testing a new to me 65 year old camera, and it is a very heavy beast. I own three light meters, Two old Zeiss Ikon Ikophot, and the scrabble tile sized Reflx - I just didn't want to mess with a fiddly meter and try and hold the beast. So I looked up one on my phone (android version). Did you know (of course did) that there is a great free photo light meter called "Light Meter - Free". Just shot a roll - inside and outside 1./30th to 1/500th of second. They are all spot on! Speaking of spots - you can slide your light reading circle of interest wherever you want the reading using the phones camera. Anyway, thought there might be someone here that would be interested.
Unlike theHUN's photos, the two rolls of HP-5 I developed today in a 1:50 dilution of Rodinal came out flat and dead.I paid my Rodinal speed tax and exposed them at 200, was careful metering but I think either someting is off with the Fujica or some light snuck into the tank while I was getting things ready. I finally got my new glasses, eight weeks after the first cataract surgery and I was excited to get out. On the first roll, there were spacing problems and I only got ten exposures. The light was flat but even today and even with added exposure and an increase in developing time, still blah. When I was getting the developer ready, I noticed the plastic lid on my stainless steel tank wasn't firmly in place. I have two more rolls that I do tomorrow. All of the chemistry was fresh.

The next experiment is to try the the same combination of film speed and developer using the Yashic D to see if there are problems with the Fujica.
More Samurai X4 - 5222-XX The camera came with a plastic closeup lens. It looks to be made of Plexi-glass (more transparent than real glass). It is extremely light, but it worked. I was surprised - expecting it to not work well.

These look slightly sharper, but have a colder tone - IMO
Yes, I think you are right. I could adjust the white balance. The GFX tends towards cooler white balance. Given it is slide film, i should compare against the positive.

I hope you don't mind. I only adjusted black point, white point, curve (S-shaped), and finally gray point to taste. Plenty of pop!
Thank you for the assistance! For the most part, the images that I post are straight conversions from NLP. I try to do everything possible to avoid any digital manipulation but sometimes it's necessary. I did find the Previous button in the Tone Curve in Lightroom and was amazed how much just clicking that cleaned up the muddy images. I did switch back to the acrylic sheet instead of the ANR glass. I was getting good results with it and may try the glass at a later date. Here's one that was cleaned up uising the Previous Button.
