I shot with TriX back in the 70's with my Canon AE1
I used Tri-X in the 70’s with a Nikon F and a couple of Barnack Leicas. Starting in the 80’d it was TMax until a couple of years ago when it was back to Tri-X. Currently, I’m on a HP5+ side trip.
I need to remember to use the ol' Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 more. I have two versions - an early one with compensating diaphragm and an ai'd one with rubber diamond-patterned knurled grip - both are single coated. In total, you could get two copies of one of the best lenses ever and only spend $150...total. In truth, I need to get a more competent repair person to look at my F2 - it leaks oil like a sieve and the focusing screen is perpetual mess as a result (waiting two years to have Sover Wong look at it seems silly too, though I am sure he is first rate). The F just sits there and also looks sad that I don't use it more...
