I would happily go back to Double X again. I really like that stock. My dream would be T-Max 400. A couple of years back Pro Photo Supply over-purchased and cleared out 100' rolls of near expiry T-Max for $100/roll. I got three of 'em. The current regular price of $170 seems a little silly, though. Happy to report that I picked up a roll of HP5+. Still boggles the mind Ilford prices are cheaper than Kodak...can't imagine that UK labor + shipping could be cheaper than US production, but what do I know?
I bought the last 100' roll of Tri-X Pro Photo had for $99. You're right, you would think HP5+ and Tri-X would be the same price instead Ilford is cheaper by almost two dollars a roll.
During the summer of 2020, I would often head downtown. You could smell the tear gas, hear the pressure washers running and the broken glass would glint in the morning sun. I used a lot of 5222 that summer.

I see you're a fellow glutton for punishment. And we thought the 35/1.4 ZM was heavy!
The F6 handles so well, and the shutter + advance is very smooth, stable, and (relatively) quiet. Obviously, the metering options are phenomenal. The 100% finder is just sososososo easy to use.
When I bought the Art, I was not happy with the autofocus performance so I picked up a Sigma dock. I called their customer service line to check on a good methodology for using it to calibrate focus on a film camera. The service technician was utterly baffled as to why I would want to do that. He was not helpful in the least, but his confusion/disdain was charming.

I really love the results from this lens/camera combo...just wish it weighed less...wah! ...Show more →
Did you figure out how to use the dock w the F6? I have the dock and used it to tune my 35 and 50 Arts for my D850 when I had that. Now that has been replaced by a Z7 - which of course focuses perfectly as mirrorless - I'm thinking about revisiting the Art focus on the F6 (and my other film Fs).
The 35 Art focuses fine wide open (as seen from my pic above) but the 50 misses a little, which basically defeats the whole point of using it at 1.4. Maybe I should just reset it to its default setting.
