Leica M5, Voigtlander 21mm f/4 Color-Skopar, Voigtlander 50mm f/1.5 Nokton VM Ver 2 SC, Fomapan 400 @ 200, Xtol.
Have I told you all how much the M5 is the best Leica M ever made (it is)?
Have I mentioned how much I love and hate Fomapan 400? It's basically the cheapest '400' speed film available and can be so lovely...except that this 100' roll has a flaw in the emulsion that runs horizontally through all one-hundred-feet (see below).

We don't do moderation here, literally or figuratively. Only film photos and more film photos!
Just don't be that weirdo who uses a film camera to take a pic of another one of his film cameras.
Allow me to demonstrate:
Taken with a Leica R9 and Summilux 50. That dope might as well be driving down the freeway setting dollar bills on fire and tossing them out of his window.

No, that's when you use your Itchy & Scratchy brand new M6 reissue to take a picture of your $20 Samsung Slim and Wide.

Yes, you can clone it out, but I'll never be able to make an optical print from any of the negatives.
Thankfully, I've now finished the roll. Finally....Show more →
Greeting from the other side of the Willamette. What's up next? Kentmere? Double X use to be a bargain but not so much anymore. The Film Photography Project has 100' of HP5+ for $101 plus shipping but Midwest Photo Exchange has for $105 and may include shipping.
Really nice series of the old Kaiser Permanente site. Wonder what it'll be when it's redeveloped.

Greetings!
I would happily go back to Double X again. I really like that stock. My dream would be T-Max 400. A couple of years back Pro Photo Supply over-purchased and cleared out 100' rolls of near expiry T-Max for $100/roll. I got three of 'em. The current regular price of $170 seems a little silly, though. Happy to report that I picked up a roll of HP5+. Still boggles the mind Ilford prices are cheaper than Kodak...can't imagine that UK labor + shipping could be cheaper than US production, but what do I know?
