Yeah, not only do I love it, but it's also the cheapest film on the market! I've pushed it to 1600 withh DF 96 Monobath and it looked great. Like great, not great for 1600!
Way better than TMAX or Delta 3200 @ 1600...

I'm going to try 1600 next then... Thanks for the tip! Problem being.... I just loaded my last roll of Kentmere, so I'll have to get more. If anyone is counting, that was the last of 40 rolls of Kentmere that I ordered 16 months ago.

EOS 1V + CV 40/2 + Kentmere 400
Two things:
1. Kentmere looks great
B. How good is that CV 40 f2? It's my favourite lens on my film Nikons.

Nice! Did I miss the bit where you told me you also have the 50 2.5 LTM? Is it black?....
It is! I had one in silver years ago and stupidly sold it. I was trading a bunch of stuff to KEH, originally, I was going to take the cash until wandering into the screw mount section and there it was in all it's black paint over brass beauty (at least the generic picture was). It arrived looking unused but of course, missing the screw on hood. I bought a LH-2 hood and really should use it more. Interestingly, I bought a Voigtlander 50 LTM to M adapter but on both the M4 and the M4-2 it would always show just the slightest edge of the left side of the 35 frameline. Got a genuine Leica and all is good

I've always wanted a black one, and stupidly passed on one on ebay last week that sold for $400 with all the bits n pieces. By the time I decided to get it, it was gone..
My chrome one is v nice, and has the vestigial hood etc. There's one for sale on FM, but it has a wobbly focus tab and big glue stain.
If yours had the missing hood, I'd thumb wrestle you to exchange it for my silver one. But it doesn't, le sigh.
