I underexposed the shot.. I was already at 1/40 sec at ISO1600, and lying on the floor with two very interested dogs made for difficult shooting conditions The front element of my lens got a wet dog nose on it prompting a cleaning session I didn't want to have I have a UV filter for the front but it's a cheapie with horrible glare/reflections so I had it off.

The carpet... but the cat took quite a liking to it!!
