I will have to say that I can't express how grateful I am for people's generosity. I am new to photography and picking up a few little things for free makes a huge difference. I can't wait to give back as soon as I accumulate as much stuff as some of you guys have that have been doing this for a while.
I realize these cards are essentially useless in our current-day cameras, but if anyone has older digital p&s cameras or whatever and can make use of them, they're up for grabs to the first people to PM me. If I get multiple PMs quickly I will divide the cards up to spread the goodwill around, but if only one person is interested them I'm willing to let them all go at once.

Well, the misc hood give-away went so well that I'm digging for anything else that might help someone out there.
I have my old Canon Digital Solution Disk (v.5) available. With the disk you can go to the Canon web-site & download the latest & greatest updates for Zoom Browser, PhotoStitch, Remote Capture, File Viewer, etc. If you have lost your original installation or simply want to use the Canon software this will let you install the latest updates. It's FREE including shipping...I only have one disk but I'm willing to make two or three copies if it's needed by anyone.

I just found a Netgear ProSafe VPN Firewall Model FVS318 with the power cord (surprise, surprise!) if anyone has the need for it and is willing to pay shipping.
I also have two Plextor CDR/RW drives model PX-W4012TA. Both are beige (uck). Shipping is again for you to pay if you want them.
I know this is a camera board, but I ended up with a bunch of external modems (dial-up and one DSL), as part of an ebay auction. If anyone needs one let me know. You pay shipping. can accept paypal if from a checking account, not credit card
