My EF-S 17-55, EF 85 f/1.8 and EOS 5DSR are heading back from Canon. Going to try to sell them on the B&S. I am ready to stop hoarding so I will sell the equipment I am not using to migrate to mirrorless. Probably won't get a new camera but I would like new RF lenses.
Edit: The two lenses and camera were just delivered. They look brand new, CPS even put a 'pincher' lens cap on the EF 85! 6345 shot count and 6305 shutter.

This was just conjecture about the new releases having Quad AF, nothing about IBIS. My guess is, R5 II will have it, R1 will not.
Thanks Jim!
I've been tempted to get into RED over the years, but the entry fee is just beyond ridiculous, $58,0000 for a body, no accessories. They have built that business on Hollywood budgets.
Jim,
I had to check that I was actually in the Wildlife forum when I saw your name on a post.
I clicked on it expecting to see a full disc prop or some such thing but your Hawk, (feathered variety), is just spectacular. It belongs along side your head on T-38 shot in the hangar
It really showcases the capabilities and what can be done, with the superteles.
Just thought I would post this in MA2A in case some of the regulars here don't look at the Wildlife Forum too often.
Stunning shot.

I think Jim has that hawk trained as a model. I agree with you, stunning!

Thank you James! I almost didn't bother with that shot because all of my gear was packed away in the back of my Landcruiser when I rolled into the driveway. I figured that he wold depart before I could get out and configure the R5 with the RF600, but he sat there patiently watching me get everything ready. Once I had the RF600 mounted up and set my parameters put in, I slowly walked toward him until I was about 15' away. He wasn't the least bit intimidated. This was a great use of high frame rate because he was looking to and fro, it allowed me to capture the eye to eye contact that makes this image so captivating. Thanks for appreciating it!
Is anyone else experiencing advertisement overload on FM this morning? Seems something has changed on FM overnight. I realize that FM needs to turn a profit, but to go from 1 or 2 adds per page to 5, wow.
McKinney has asked me to create a gallery in and throughput their new FBO facility and they want all fresh/custom captured images. I'm beginning to dig into that project as we speak.................
I wasn't going to say anything about The Thunderbirds in November for a while because there will have to be. a lot of details ironed out before it will happen. A glimmer of hope though, "WeeBeeSee!"
