Another Mustang fresh out of the shop at Reno. When Vicky Benzing bought Clay Lacy's 1970 Unlimited champ it was a flyer, but it needed a full going thru. It spent the last four years at Fighter Rebuilders in Chino, finished just before Reno.
At least one bad spark plug was causing it to run rough, so Steveo hopped in it to see what was wrong. After a little testing and ground runs, problem found and fixed.

Beautiful, stunning compositions Tim! Glad you are back! Love hands on repairs!
Again well done!

Dan, if you have little interest in video, or will keep it to short burst of 4K, there's no need to look at the R5C. The R5 is a bargain right now, in anticipation of a sequel. I'm guessing we will see that in the next six months if you think that you might want to wait. The sequel, of course, won't be a bargain until the sequel of the sequel comes out...................
Wrapping up some Photoshop tweaking on my pool project from last week. There's nine more pools on this client's list for 2023, but I doubt that we will get anywhere near that many completed. Things like patio furniture delays, landscape changes, etc. have been a hiccup this year. There are still a large number of "supply chain" issues left over from the covid debacle, everything from grocery items to, high end patio furniture, and chips, yeah chips, because someone thought it would be a great idea to give one of our biggest enemies that hammer over our heads.
Indeed! I'm thinking that version II will be worth the wait, and will last a very long time into the future. That being said, my guess is the premium on that upgrade, over the R5 price today, will probably be $2,500 + -. You'll love which ever one you decide to go with. I'm hoping that my one frustration, blackout/focus lag, will be dealt with in V.II. That, for me, would make any premium with it.The R5 is a beast, and I love it, but I have lost a number of keepers due to that focus anomaly, I'll be glad to see it go away, and Canon must make it go away.
FYI, Angelbird just sent me shipping notice on the 512GB CF Express. I think these companies make it just difficult enough that some folks won't bother jumping through the hoops. By the time you fill out the questionnaire, package it up, and pay shipping, it's almost not worth it.

Don't I know it Jim! It seems everytime I buy a "new" camera a new one comes out shortly. I waited, very impatiently, for the 5DSr to come down in price and was happy I did.
What I have now can carry me through another "Canon" announcement.
Maybe your "secret source" will give you a hint?
Thanks!
Dan

Fantastic images here! Love the last one. Nothing more fierce than a mad grandmother...and with a machine gun? .....
Sharp, clean, clear and vibrant images!
Very well done!

Tuesday was a dress rehearsal with the B29, but the ranch grounds were cluttered with set up stuff and the attendees weren't there. Last evening was a race against the weather, but we got it done and pulled one more rabbit from the hat..............
