You all know how I anguished over not being able to capture Hunter's wedding, well, as I suspected, the young ladies that shot the day did a wonderful job. Hunter and Alex just sent us this link:
Other than the fact that the Grandfather in the video blubbered through his prayer, it's pretty darn good.............

Very nice and a wonderful couple, God Bless!
I thought we had a lot of bridesmaids and groomsmen at our wedding. I remember telling my wife (fiancé at the time) if she added any more bridesmaid I would have to order some guys from a temporary labor company. I do remember introducing myself to three of the groomsmen at the rehearsal dinner.😀

I photographed this Citation XLS+ jet this past week in Alabama. It is a little rare to find a lavatory AND a sink in this size aircraft, but it had both of them.

Nice looking paint scheme, too!
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
I have never been in a jet this small. Interesting observation on the lavatory and the sink.
With the performance of the Russian weaponry shown in Ukraine, now I remember in 1987 I accompanied a group of American tourists to fly over the Ming Bombs and the section of the Great Wall near Beijing, in a huge Soviet made chopper, not sure what model, glad it landed.

Beautiful Jim, and I saw you shuffling on the dancefloor that looked like a awesome party
I spent the day painting the trim on Faith's "dog house", there is maybe one long day or a couple of half days and I'll have the finishing touches wrapped up. I realized today that I need a stiffer brush to accurately cut in some of the trim. The darn thing is looking pretty nice.
I've been following this development closely, looks very cool. I can't say that I have ever missed AF in my T/S lenses. Don't think that I would ever shoot these new ones in AF mode.
We finally got the last one "hooded", my job is finished! Our youngest daughter walked yesterday for her Ed.D. Now, both daughters and both husbands all have their doctoral degrees.
Can't imagine the atmospherics with this lens. My 800mm was a wonderful lens, about five times a year, this lens would cut that in half, for $20K....................
I used the 5D SR for the graduation photos. Mistake, should have used the R6, but I was more concerned about the outdoor photos that would follow the graduation. The 5D SR and 70-200 II had a hard time with auto focus in the low lighting while I had the hood on. I decided to try it with the hood removed and it was much quicker. Still learning.
Yes, the R5 side of the "C" is identical to my first R5. The AF has slightly different characteristics when operating in the video OS, still great, just a little different. Were I in the market for a 5 series, I would spring for the "C" just to put the much hyped overheating issue to bed, unless I had no intention of doing much video, then I'd go straight R5.
