Oh what a sweetheart Bill! Brings tears to my olde eyes..My children are gone and I await our unification. With my wife's medical conditions, I just could not give the love and care to a "4 legged child" that they deserve.
Eyes into the human soul they are!
I hear ya Dan.
My daughter always had to have a dog growing up and they certainly grow on you.
Sad to see it all go but hang in there best you can
Here is a shot of one of the tanker BAe-146 jets that I saw last week while I was in Abilene, TX. There were two of these and the fire retardant container was inside this aircraft, and the other one that Neptune owned. There was another company who had an Avro RJ, a newer version of the BAe-146 and their fire retardant container was on the outside of the jet. I just can't understand why, versus the two with it inside.
For those that don't know, BAe stands for "Bring Another Engine" !!
I used to work, a LONG time ago, for Aspen Airways in Lubbock and we flew this jet as a United Express commuter, flying from LBB to AMA to DEN. I loved this jet. It was so easy to load. Never had to worry about the center of gravity when completing the loading of the jet, unlike the Convair 580's. We were actually the first station in the world to pull up a jetway to the aircraft, all the other stations had stairs and outdoor boarding.

They know it to, they dance and run around and feel so good.
Sorry for such large pictures, had to fix them at work where I spend my whole life at.

Oh he got plenty of belly rubs, ...
.
Been here 33 years, I hear ya on Uncle Sam's greedy paws.
Only 57 so gotta work at least 8 more years to have enough to retire on.
I was proud of myself today. I kept my mouth shut!. The McLennan College base runner took a big lead so the pitcher threw a pick off throw to the first baseman. The umpire, who was in his position in the infield between the second baseman and the pitcher called the runner safe. As soon as I took the shot I knew he was out, even with the quirky flicker in the R6 viewfinder. I reviewed the play immediately and found this shot. I was in the dugout between the three Temple coaches. I didn't say a word, which is hard for me. I think they should have asked for an appeal by the plate umpire.
All my Raid Arrays are disconnected at the moment but when I get them back up we'll switch to Bulls... Jennifer inherited a beautiful Bull calf that was rejected by his mom and thus has refused to eat. The owners just wrote him off as a loss and didn't want to mess with him Jennifer and Faith have finally talked him into taking a bottle and we think he's turned the corner. Monday when I was out finishing the shed he spent the day with me and pretty much wouldn't leave my side, it was pretty cute. Fully knowing this guy will be 2,000# plus in short order, our friendship will have to be a cautious one I would imagine.

Had a similiar incident here Jim. Calf was born blind and my cousin couldn't figure out why mother was rejecting it.
Other cattle were attacking it so she secluded it in another pen.
Discovered the blindness and bottle fed it 3 times a day and walk around with it to get it settled down.
As of this moment it is doing ok.
It breaks my heart when something like this happens!

I admire your self control...... Not sure I could have been so silent, but yes you did the right thing. It's their game and we are there to enjoy.
Dan
Dan, a few years ago I would not have been silent. Thankfully, during the aging process I have become more thoughtful. I kept telling myself "Not my circus, not my clowns, I am here to take photos!".

Oh man, I’ve tried that humor on the Feagin farm and it goes over like a lead ballooon.
I know Jim! I sort of cringe thinking about where some of our food comes from. Living in Iowa and the "hollers" of Maryland. cattle, livestock, farming is in my blood.
We need someone to create a "virtual or 3D" replication of food that satisfies all of our desires but leaves the live creatures alone!
Sometimes I wish I was Noah!
Hope all is well and say "Heh" to my best buddy!
