I'm just glad that they haven't added Longhorns to their repetoire!.............
You got that correct Jim!
The farmer down from me has a few head of Texas longhorns that I am dying to photograph. Seems everytime I drive by they are in the back pasture or not out.
I need to park my van and hike to them. I must get a feel for their attitude towards a stranger so I don't become a horn ornament!

There are some hints that the R1 will have an advanced AF system beyond the accuracy of anything we have seen before, even eclipsing the R3. Another article suggests that it may have a global shutter as well, although many are skeptical about that . The new dual point AF is pretty much a certainty. Every drip of information makes me feel a bit better about passing on the R3. I’m hoping to test an R5C in the near future. I haven’t had much of a cooling problem with my R5, but if I were to get a second one a C would make sense.
Heading up to Tioga this afternoon to begin laying out Faith’s shed for her dogs. This project began as a “shed”, but is rapidly evolving into a deluxe enclosure with a/c and the works. I woke up in the middle of the night last night second guessing my decision to get involved in this little venture.🤣
Flew the Cub home yesterday after six weeks of chasing an ads-b issue around at the factory. When I walked in yesterday morning it was clear that the entire staff either was getting, had full blown Covid, or was recovering. I thanked them, grabbed my plane and blasted out of there.
Beautiful shots, Don! Can't beat cardinal and snow combo, like red barn and snow. The blue jay looks good in snow too! Some folks spend hours and hours trying to find snowy owls, I don't have the patience for that
