Since I'm going "old school" today, I was looking back at some of my point and shoot photos and came across this one. Just felt like it had to be in black and white.
Saw this about four years ago, up in Denton, while I was photographing a Lear Jet for a broker.
Looks like I'll be adding a pool design and construction company to my client list. I had a long conversation with the CEO this afternoon and it seems that he has had a tough time finding a photographer who can shoot quality images of his product. Boggles my mind, don't get me wrong I love it, but with the bazillion "photographers" out there, it just boggles my mind. As of three this afternoon, I believe this company is off the market, photographically speaking
On page 4652, post #10 you quoted 'NightOwl Cat". All the text in the post is the same text color. By default the forum software displays "quoted" text in a different color to differentiate it from the response. This is what you did to cause that, and how you can fix it. (I have done this myself, as recently as an hour ago)
In your case you "quoted" NightOwl Cat's post, then deleted the part you weren't commenting on. All well and good, except.... All "quoted" text starts, and ends with "bracket" quote "bracket". Anything between those 2 " quote "'s is displayed in a different text color. Your response being outside of the "bracket" quote "bracket"'s will be displayed in the normal text color. However, you deleted the last "bracket" quote "bracket" along with the text so the software can't tell where the quote stops and your response starts.
I usually have this happen by accidentally hitting the backspace key before writing a response, and removing the last bracket from "bracket" quote "bracket", changing it to " bracket" quote.
It's easy to fix this by editing the original post to replace the missing last "bracket" quote "bracket", or the part of it that is missing.
Since the forum software won't display what I am describing, I used "bracket" quote "bracket", to describe the word "quote" enclosed by brackets like this [qu-te].
You can see it in the response window, as well as the edit window. Even if it is not visible in the post itself.

Whoops! TOPP edit:
Well ...... if "photographer" = person with camera in hand, then yes, there are plenty out there (me included). But how many would know that getting the shot you showed absolutely requires a level tripod? How many could balance all the different light sources, and deliver a realistic and pleasing result? How many could .....
Oh, and please excuse my tardiness.... Best wishes to Master C, hope he has a great time at Uni (as we call it, over here).
Thanks Nick! Chandler's older brother Hunter is the graduate, he's headed to Texas A&M in the Fall. You may remember way back when, Hunter was a Thomas The Train fan so we built an 8' x 8' train layout in the hangar together. We did it up right, hand made all of the trees and mountains. Glad we made all of those memories!
Hi Harry!! Been thinking of you, glad to see you here and hope you're doing well! on the alien landing.

Hi Ken, does this help? I put the link to the original post here too, as well as taking the quotes off the newer posting.
When I quote a post, I hit CTRL+Home, two taps of the Enter key, CTRL+Home again, and then start typing to avoid the quoting problem.

Thanks for your comments and critique, I appreciate it. Do you think there is too much "motion" going on in the reflection? This post processing part for the reflections is still a work in progress. I'm not a Photoshop expert by any means.
The VW bus that I photographed has to be a 60's model. It had the rare windows up on the top part and it was a pull back "sun roof", too. Immaculately restored to the tiniest detail. I think they are asking $132k for it. If you want to buy it, I'll put you in touch with the owner.
I'll post a photo of it later today, with no retouching of the background, at all. Shot it at Northwest Regional Airport in Roanoke, TX.

Jay, the reflection under the plane, the part that's on the runway, has something going on that bothers my eyes. Can't quite nail what it is, but the other reflection image had it also.
Have fun with the VW Bus, what year is the one you're shooting? I had a 1979 model, the last year of the second generation of Type 2's. (Type 1's are known as the Beetle or Bug) The Bus should stand on its own without intervention #quote#

Photographed a Falcon 50 last week for a client of mine and I am still working on my post processing with a reflection put in the photo.
Photographing a CLASSIC VW bus tomorrow, worth about $132k and then a King Air. I've seen the VW bus already and it is so amazing with the amount of detail the people went to, in fully restoring it back to it's "glory days". I've also got a beautiful model to work with, as well. Stay tuned.
I ran across this shot this morning while I was looking for another image. Chandler and Hunter are sitting in my 1939 Cub (which now resides in The Cavanaugh Flight Museum), can you guess which one of them is more likely to become a pilot........................?

Hi Laura,
I don't know if it helps, or not. Mostly because I don't have a clue why what you did works. I'm not really into writing software code, so how, and why, something works in software is often a mystery to me.
I do know that I have infrequently done that same thing that Jay did. I struggled through it, and figured out what I did wrong, and how to fix it. I wanted to let Jay know what happened with his post, (and how to fix it), just in case he did not know. It's a simple matter to fix, (if you know how).

Woops - got my chronology all bent out of shape! So.. wishing Hunter a successful time at A&M. Is Master C licenced to thrill - or has he more exams / tests to do before ... err ... driving? Reason for my confusion is that Thea and I have found that we are at the age when folks do the baby / train set / driving test / "of to uni" thing in an apparently continuous blur lasting about a year. Well that's how it feels!

The one with the full on anti gravity device fully extended.
Hi Ken, What I did was to kill all the quotes by taking that all into Windows Notepad, using the replace feature to put either an * by the starting quote tag, and a # by the ending quote tags.
The yellow can be difficult to discern, too. I believe there were quotes all at the end of his post that caused that to happen. Back when mere mortals were just learning to code HTML I used to do coding in Windows Notepad... those days are long gone

Chili is fully licensed to ply the highways and byways according to Texas law. Much to his chagrin, he will be somewhat limited in his solo excursions for a while. Traffic around here is nuts and a good 40% of our drivers think that there is a 20 mph grace margin over the posted speed. Hi Mom, and the rest of us, are not to anxious to just kick him out of the nest.
Hunter drove pretty regularly for a year prior to getting his ticket, for a variety of reasons Chandler didn't get that much stick time in. Sheila and I would just like to have them Ubered everywhere by a pro driver
Actually, at the rate this autonomous stuff is coming on, his driving time might be limited anyway. I was in a major investors meeting a few weeks ago, literally billions sitting at the table and the consensus was that it is right around the corner.
On that note did you see where Boeing is testing the first components of an autonomous airliner? Call me old fashioned, I'm out on that! A computer may not have made the choices that Sully did!
