Morning, I was strolling around on FB when I came by a post of a P51 Mustang flown by Chuck Hall.
and to my amazement I discovered that Chuck is 90 years old and still flying his Mustang Six Shooter.
Now that is something else.

Thanks, Dan glad you like it. He came across pretty low at Rome, Georgia airshow. Same jet two years ago in Rome, like the Eastern Bloc camo livery better.

wide open...........throttle and engine block
such a shame, in the final round, with the engine split in half that he could only get up to 229.55 mph covering 1000 feet in 4.88 seconds but even at that his win light came on winning the race
I spent a month in Duluth one week in late December (1987) with that unit. Very nice maintainers up there, good people.
They didn't have money for a club, but they did have money for a Chappel. Monday-Saturday, the church was their 'All Ranks Club', Sunday it was a church.

for sure good people, i always enjoy my time down there, these damn border closures are killin me that i can't get down there, usually around this time every year i headed down there to go to Sax Zim Bog in search of Great Grey Owls, little did i know a year ago when i was there how much things would change...even just to hang out at the airport i was usually assured of a show as with the photo above
Thanks, Jim. Yea, at ISO 8000 with 100-400 L lS II. Loving the R5. I just cannot justify getting a 100-500 now since have 400. Thinking that 800 f11 might be fun though !
