So the tail gunner didn't fall through the open bomb bay door on the way back from the "head?"
Question #2: do the arrays of bombs signify the # of missions flown?
Brother Tony..the tail gunner can let it ALL hang out bro! He has a headwind so no chance of anything splashing back on him or the turret!

PS "Mission symbols, also known as mission marks, kill markings and victory decals, are the small symbols painted on the sides of planes, usually near the cockpit or nose, which are used to show the successes of the crews that had flown that particular aircraft. During World War II, these marks or symbols appear not to have been official military markings but rather were given meaning through their repetitive use by the airmen. The markings may be varied in appearance and more than one marking may have similar meanings. Mission symbols were used by all of the Allied and Axis countries participating in the war.
Mission symbols on a B-26 bomber. Capt. James "Jim" C. Brown, pilot from the 557th Bomb Squadron of the 387th Bomb Group standing in front of "Ole Smokey."
I will say that the "marks" are not reserved for aircraft. Vietnam case in point.
That home is around $750K as it sits, because it's a model it has $150 or so in icing on the cake. DFW single family home demand, and pricing remain very strong. The builders that I shoot for have throttle back their sales and starts because the cities they are building in can't keep up with utilities, permits and inspections.

Wait until the state comes along to tell the county appraisal district their property appraisals are low, then directs them to inflate them. That happened here in Bell County, twice. The first time, a couple of years ago they told the appraisal district their Ag productivity (agriculture land is taxed on productivity values vs land value) is too low, mine doubled. Then, last year they told the Bell county appraisal district to raise their property appraisals. Mine doubled! The only thing that saved me on the home evaluation is my age keeps my value locked in from the appraisal when I was 65. Several taxing authorities within Bell county offset this mandated increase by lowering the tax rate. Remember the Gov bragging he was lowering the property tax rates in Texas? Yeah, that is how he is doing it, raise the appraisals so the taxing authorities can lower their rates while continuing to increase revenue.
Hard to believe this 130-140 year old house built with 2x4 rafters (and they actually measure 2"x4" give or take) and held together with square (cut) nails on 100 acres has nearly tripled the cost of me putting it together over the last 15 years. I couldn't afford it today, even if my wife and I were working full time jobs! It resides on a gravel road with all the country amenities, septic, wandering vermin and I paid to install a 3000' water line.

Dan
Hi Dan I'm doing reasonable, It takes a lot of effort to get up to speed.
Visited my work today for a little wile but the boss was out for a appointment so i will be making another appointment soon.
Ill have to see if it's possible to cut down the working hours because the workload is just to much.
This stands aside from the problems recovering from the covid 19 virus but it's not helping me getting better.
But I will see what emerges from the future meeting.
And do what the doctor says take it easy and try to relax a bit more.
Thanks for asking Dan..
The Collin County Appraisal Board is ruthless (like they all aren't) after all, it's just OPM........They raised all three hangars at McKinney by 30% this year alone. I feel like getting a huge RV and just living in it, our tax bills are just preposterous! And you know they'll all be going up with the new regime, it's one of their big campaign promises, kill the goose that lays the golden egg......didn't work in the fairy tale and it doesn't work in real life either.

That is what happened to me Ray! I am 73, I used to get a "Senior Citizen" property tax credit every year. Not much but it was something.
The tax cuts the "feds" gave us was great UNTIL the State and County raised the property taxes and cancelled my Homeowners Tax Credit.
Now I am in the hole!!!!
Uncle Sam and Sally State will get their money 1 way or another!
Good Luck!
Dan
