This Christmas I installed a chin up bar for our friends son to burn off some energy and tonight my girls while cleaning up the basement discovered it.
First, Annalise, our 17 yr old asked if she could use it, "Sure" and she tried hard to do a chin up with no success. We encouraged but..... Then Clara who is 58 tried it and we LAUGHED
But Dad, 57 was teased into a try; after 3 legit chin ups I was thinking this feels pretty good and I should do more of this. I just got to be a little bit of a hero for the 17 yr old lady we have the pleasure to be raising.
Maybe aging BUT NOT DEAD YET!

Looks like I got caught with a top - How about something old, yet still young

Lovely video, Jim. A lot of parents would probably tell their kids not to run in the puddle. I can envision this young boy (your grandson, I assume) is a free spirit and will have great fun in his life. George Strait's "Amarillo by Morning" comes to mind...
One shot from last Sunday morning, the sun still rises. You all stay safe and healthy.
I'm chronologically eligible for "old" but physically, most of me still acts like I'm in my 30's lifting and toting stuff. When people ask how old I am, and I have them guess, invariably they put me in the 40-42 year old range... when I tell them I have a son that will be 42 this year... I have to pick their jaws up for them
Take care Nick!

Much to our astonishment, Thea and I recently discovered that we are now officially classified as “old”. How on earth did that happen ?
Well that's a major bummer Jan, hopefully whatever it is passes quickly enough and stops being a discomfort.

Ill hope that it will get to a good end.
Most of the Dutch people are bit stubborn to say the least.
I'm unfortunately not in very good shape the last couple of weeks.
No viruses but some Physical discomforts.
If all goes to plan I will have my driver physical examination tomorrow,so I can renew my drivers license for driving the big trucks, witch expires in a couple of weeks. If ok then I will be good for another five years...

Thank you Dan! Here is another shot of the same lighthouse two years ago, different angle. I watched the trailer of Top Gun II, pretty amazing. It's set to released in June, not sure it will be on schedule with the virus going on. You all take care!

Best I have ever seen and I have seen all of Marylands Lighthouses in a gallery display about 5 years ago in Baltimore and at the State Fair about 10 years ago.

20 hours and many are at home? Time to go to our 'Way-Back Machines'! Glenn invited me on an air to air opportunity with Big Red. Such a thrill. Thanks again buddy!
My next favorite plane and my most favorite "bucket list" to fly in!!! Wind in your face...not so fast that you miss all that surrounds you and just plane(pun) a classic Ray! Tack sharp!!!

Sorting images can be a daunting task. but it doesn't have too. Here's an older post I redid while on "Lock Down". Here's a system I’ve come up with and used for some time now.
While I'd like to be excited by this price, one would have to ignore a lot of other things in order to be............filled up the Landcruiser for 12 bucks.
Overhere it's still high and in Belgium it's only 0,95€ a liter for euro95 robbers.
But the border is closed and if they catch you you have a fine of 4,000 € so we just pay the high prices...

Jim, many thanks for posting “James Being James”. Thea got the giggles about half way in – I just had a silly grin throughout. I asked T what she thought James may grow up to be (keep in mind she was a paediatric nurse assistant for 10 years). Too early to say yet – but when pressed – she said you may have a farmer in the making. I think he is nailed on to be a drummer – cue the sound proofing materials.
