Hi everyone. Today was the 250th anniversary of the Boston Massacre, so I took a break from work this morning to attend a commemorative wreath laying for the five victims at the Old Granary Burial Ground. Since they were all buried together, they only needed one wreath. Also had an honor guard that fired off a few musket volleys.
Just had my iPhone (due to poor planning on my part), but you get the idea.

Ironic that your post shows at the top of the page, which by tradition requires an image.

It's a recent tradition.
Call me a "Photographic Socialist". I believe that those of us who are incapable of producing much more than a snapshot should be able to enjoy the works of gifted photographers (that they wish to share). Much like people go to museums to see the paintings by the "masters", I come here to see aviation photography by a different set of "masters".
Besides there is great comradery among the participants in MA2A. It's a great place to spend a few minutes of ones day.
Now Ken, that's a brand of "socialism" I can get behind bud! I for one (and I'm sure everyone feels the same way), am very glad you are here and that you grace us with a little of you time each day. In the spirit of sharing, I'll be happy to share an image here and here when you land at TOP
Had my day all planned today, jumped in the shower and got ready to do battle. Just prior to walking out of the house I took a quick glance at my email and one stood out...........a need for a series of aerials near Love Field that the client needed by Wednesday. Our weather heads downhill starting this evening, winds, clouds, followed by precipitation beginning early in the week. A few scrambling calls got a helo lined up, FAA approval to hang out in Love's airspace for a few minutes , and I was on my way.
Things are just beginning to have an almost imperceptible green aura, happily things usually progress quickly from that point. I really dislike shooting aerials in the winter , drab, monochromatic, just feels like I'm not earning my money. My hometown looked pretty darn good as we flew by dodging 737's.................
BTW, the FAA graciously granted me a two year blanket exemption to fly and capture drone imagery all along the Trinity River levee that you see running around downtown Dallas. I'm thinking that there are some outstanding perspectives along there at dawn and dusk...............
A few years ago. President George H. W. Bush Train arrives in College Station for his burial. F-18 missing man...tail hook down for a fellow carrier pilot. Overcast and cold, but it was still impressive.
G. W. Bush saw a fellow TxANG guy and waved to me...
Lead engine arrives in College Station next to Kyle Field...
I've been so extremely busy lately and traveling a lot! I've already earned A List Rewards on Southwest Airlines for 2021. Shot nine jets in January and I had ten in February.
March has slowed down a little bit, so I was presently surprised when I saw this in the mail today.
I photographed this Falcon 2000 over two years ago in Phoenix, AZ. Not too terribly crazy about the background that the broker placed behind my photograph, but I've already been paid for it; so if he's happy, I'm happy.
A client of mine manufactures the world's premiere examples of animatronic dinosaurs and creatures of all kinds. Their headquarters is being built right here in Allen, Texas. "The Dinosaur People" create and ship their products worldwide to museums, the BBC, film production companies and others. Great folks with a wonderful story of family ingenuity and an entreprenuering spirit leading to great success. This facility is going to be a beautiful architectural work that will be lots of fun to photograph once it's complete. From a personal standpoint this project has blessed me with multiple new clients, constructors, architects, sub-contractors and manufacturers.
