And some of us are those people. Without the fear of kids dragging in who knows what, it seams less crazy. Some of us take our wheels off to detail the back of them too.
Jim, Everybody, hope you're all keeping well – you’ve sure been busy – as usual. Thanks for all the visual treats! Over here in the south UK we have had a warm and very dry summer, which is now turning to autumn. In a couple of weeks we have our first camera club competition – UK landscapes – I’ll advise of any success in due course. I’m going to try some new (to me) type of photography – night time urban landscapes. This was prompted by several things, including the fact that our street lighting is now turned down / off from 01:00 to 04:00. I’m interested to see if that might help make the dynamic range more manageable. If not I will make it all B&W so that it will automagically become art!

Love it! Been fighting with myself over acquiring an Aston for years, but the cost of the QTips frightens me...........
It's been quite a while since I've posted here. I hope all is well with everyone.
Currently on holiday which has provided the breather I needed from work. Has been really enjoyable to catch up on the amazing shots in this thread.
My photography has taken a bit of a back seat this year but here are a couple of shots I took last year but have only just got round to working on them after walking the dogs on the beach yesterday!
Fabulous stuff James!
Laura, the first time I saw an original Mini I was amazed a how small they were! I can see how they got their go-cart for the street reputation.
Erich, definitely gives the Fortwo a run for the smallest car.

The “big” anniversary trip is in the archives. Characteristically, it involved a trip to Troy Ohio, a two day shoot, and a few days of side trips just unwinding and counting our blessings. Nothing earth shaking, but a time during which we were blessed and very conscious of just how provident and faithful God has been to us since first our eyes met at the tender age of 14.
Back on the home front, we made a trip to the park yesterday and someone was pretty miffed..............
I made the mistake of sending this shot to Halle and she burst into tears. James was just frustrated because there was nothing to play on, Halle was overcome with nostalgia. The good news, which didn't do much to heal Halle's wounded heart, is the old equipment was disassembled and will be crated and shipped to a playground somewhere in the world where there isn't any place to play at the moment. James won't care and will be perfectly happy with the latest and greatest when it's installed and functioning, Halle Girl, well she's into memories made so that's going to take a little longer to fix
I thought there were some plans for a trip to Paris in the works?

We had many discussions pro/con an expensive trip. When it came down to it, making 10 grand looked better than spending 10 grand. We had a nice relaxing trip around the assignment and we've got a little cash for a couple of side trips over the next year. Anyway, we've always wanted to see Troy in June.........................
I have a big event in Montauk to capture in October, I hear "The Hamptons" are lovely in the fall
Truthfully, if I never had to get on a commercial flight again it would be fine and dandy with me. There were a couple of years when JR was working on the deal of the century in Dubai when we though we were not going to need the airlines any longer, and it turned out fine, just not fill the hangar with jets fine;(
