Thanks Mark, her name is Bailey. Currently a very unhappy cat who went from being an only to my crazy house. I did manage to not get hissed at yesterday and got leg rubs for a few minutes, so there is progress. Going to take a while for her to adjust.
While the lighting is beautiful I do respectfully disagree with you AND Punxsutawney Phil on how spring is on the way!!! As you can see from the attached "Spring Time" photo we have over 8" of new "Fresh Fallen Spring" on the old grill from just yesterday, and another 3-6 inches of "Spring Time" set to fall tomorrow night!
To quote my late father; "I don't care what that rodent predicts, living in the mid-west you WILL have 6 more weeks of winter!"
Enjoy, I am working on a snowmobiling trip myself!

Thanks Dan! You folks sure do like some ice in your drinks …... I note the shovel handle strategically placed. Your photo is a timely reminder of what winter is for a lot of people. We live such a moderate, Gulf Stream warmed, existence here in the UK.
Sorry for the long pause it's been a bit hectic for the last couple of weeks and I had to keep my eyes on the target. ISAP/El Centro was a blast, a weather challenge for sure, but great fun. Went straight from that shoot to Dayton (Sorry Laura, landed, shot, flew out) for a two day non stop sprint for Kettering Health Network, grabbing the last flight out last night after a 48 hour straight shoot. Fortunately the 3" of snow followed by heavy rain didn't affect my imagery, just the degree of miserableness Back in Dallas reorganizing for another assignment south of here.
The weather at El Centro was up and down, leaning toward the down side. I think this group was one of the nicest I've had the pleasure of shooting with and everyone took the atmospherics in stride. Heck, how often do you get vapor in the desert? The Blues had fun playing with us and we had a large Harrier contingent that made for some really cool images as they launched and recovered in intermittent rain showers. Chandler captured a half dozen of the coolest images he's ever shot and best of all, we were together.
Wow Jim! that last Blues pic is amazing...I've been seeing a little of that shoot trickle out form other folks....talk about vapor!
In other news....after bargaining with the management, saving some cash and using a bit of last year's bonus....I have joined the cult of the full frame!
