Out there, when they ask Red or Green, never say Green. I learned that way back when I was 20 years old and newly arrived to the AF way of life and as a transplant from Boston.... dear lord, it burned for days.....

Friend of mine had something similar happen. He moved from the midwest where he had no problems, to Albuquerque and had all kinds of sinus/allergy problems. When it got really bad, he went to a little hole-in-the-wall Mexican place and got their green chili. I tried it once and was sure I was going to die and not from allergies. Hottest stuff I'd even encountered.
Laura, since you guys were three miles past the museum, you may not have seen this little scene unfold. Betty's Dream generated smoke, dropped out of the gaggle, did a 180 about over the Memorial Park, and departed.
Been so long, I've forgotten the best posting size. My last two were too big. Let's see how this size goes.

Discovered I hadn't finished working images from the February trip to the museum...
Pshaw... that ain't nuttin'.
Don't feel bad. I have what I think would be some very nice pano material (8-stop bracketed HDR stacks for each of the 6-8 pano frames) from the Great Wall of China in 2011 (I think it was 2011...) that are still untouched RAW files.
I've been missing in action lately; spent a couple of weeks with Marcia down in NZ, one day of which I played hooky from the tourist stuff and attended practice day at Omaka Classic Fighters. In a lot of ways it's a lot more photo-friendly than Wanaka, where the crowd line faces north into the sun all day. And any day you can see three Spitfires flying together, or five Fokker DR.1 Triplanes facing off with a Sopwith Camel, is a good day.
I only brought along my little Lumix DMC ZS-100 travel camera, so I can't share a lot of airshow stills of the caliber to which we are accustomed around here. But I did want to show you the Griffon-powered Spitfire Mk XIV (in South East Asia Command livery), on takeoff. What a joyful noise it makes!
.Things can't stay on the hard drive too long, I run out of space fast nowadays...
Sounds like you need to spend some airplane ride time working on your photo backlog, for the relaxation
