Flew down to Houma, LA yesterday to photograph a Citation VII for a client. I think Houma is ground zero for all the gulf coast helicopters that transport workers out to the oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico!
They also have a company there that helps when there are oil spills in the ocean. I counted four DC-3's on the ramp while I was there, plus one DC-6.
OK, let's play - Name that aircraft!! Some of you will know the location as they know where I've been, but what is the aircraft and why is it there?

Thanks guys, got an official splint, have to go back next week, when they will probably put a real cast on. Also said I seem to have a lot of old arthritis there, but it has never bothered me. Thankfully no reduction surgery needed. Cooking isn't going to be fun. Not sure about working, either.
Yes Museum of the Revolution in Havana and it is, reputedly, B-26 serial '935' (code-named Chico Two) that had been shot down and crash-landed at Girón on 17 April 1961 during the Bay of Pigs operation

A little close to home, the Hindu Temple is a half a mile from my house and one or more of us are at Stonebriar Mall just about every day. The DA that will be charging this piece of slime is a good friend and my next door neighbor. I helped him get elected because he is a no nonsense conservative.
Had a bit of luck the other evening. I'm not attending my camera club evenings at the moment, but I am putting work into competitions. We just had a Tri-Pic competition - projected images and prints. I've lernt that I managed to win the PI section with this....

I'm sure the leftist bleeding hearts will flock to defend this punk but, thank God, this is Texas, not California so he'll get the max.
I am glad that they identified this and stopped it before he could carry out his plan. I hope the DA does get him the largest penalty allowed by law. It is scary what this world seems to be coming to these days.
