Well, Kinder is just one.... we have giant chocolate eggs (hollow, not solid, mind) which usually come with whatever chocolate bar they are named after.

Oh chocolate eggs are nothing new, they're available all over the place. Unfortunately the original Kinder Eggs with the surprise are no longer available due to a "choking hazard" with the little contents. Sometimes I really have to roll my eyes and breath deep...

well heck, there's a place around the corner from me that sells all that stuff. It's where I found Jim's Violet Crumbles, too
It's called Wise Choice.
I was lucky enough to spend 2 days this week with 27 Squadron at RAF Odiham, day 1 on base, and day 2 on exercise on Salisbury Plain. A quick couple of shots from the 2nd day:
The British version is made different than the US version. I bought these Kinder Eggs without traveling out of the US, and without someone shipping them to me from outside the US. They do have a toy in them.

Best make it quick, or order online and they will ship. Harry, the owner, is coming up on his 80th birthday and is looking to sell the store as his health is starting to wane.... Sadly I don't have his Welsh accent though

Well, I guess I know where I'll be visiting if I'm ever up your way :-)
Sadly, no, I didn't get to talk to him Jim. He was being shuttled around on that cart, and they were driving him place to place like a bee flits from flower to flower...

How great Laura! Did you get to talk with Dick? He would enjoy you.
Should be moving by now, I hope. The gates were opening at 10AM for the general public. I came home to dump my cards and to mow my lawn before I get a city placed lawn ornament

Stopped by Meacham Field in Fort Worth on Saturday morning just in time to catch the A26K crew do an engine run.
Nifty piece of history here, the last airworthy Douglas A- 26A/B-26K Counter Invader, combat veteran of the secret war over the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Flying out of Laos between 1966 and 1969. 12 of the 30 aircraft deployed were lost in combat.
