Well that would be pretty cool Massimo! I just looked it up again and max speed is 281 mph, so I figure 200 knots would be loafing for it. Where's that link to go fund me?

Welcome back Jeff! Happy Thanksgiving!

Been thinking about getting myself a cheap (ish), normal (ish) prime for some time now. Need to try my hand at the wide open, focus close, blurred background thing. Oh, and Jeff just reminded me how good that can look in Mono. Now, all I need is the lens and some talent. Do we have an app for that?

That max speed is with the fuselage rear closed. I wonder if anyone has ever published a max, or cruising speed for the OV-10 with the rear fuselage doors removed.
Also it occurred to me that if one was acquiring an OV-10 for photo work it might be advantageous to find one that still has it's fuselage sponsons. Those external gun mounts would seem to be a great location for mounting remotely operated external cameras/video equipment, or a cargo pod to carry extra gear.

I had a rare chance to get out with my Hasselblad and burn some Portra and FP4+. Nothing spectacular, but fun to exercise the equipment. A handful of results...
ISAP Chairman Larry Grace and ISAP all around great guy/graphic design Guru Kevin Hong have released yet another wonderful ISnAP issue. Well done guys, you are worth 10 times what we aren't paying you!

Hi Nick,
Are you thinking a 50 or like an 85 for portraiture? They aren't normal or cheap usually, but an 85/1.4 is a wonderful lens for the effect that you are looking for. When I was in college I worked at a camera store (why didn't I see this career coming and because top sales people got very good promo pricing deals, I bought a Minolta SRT 101 with a 50mm/1.2 Zuiko lens. Sheila voted that we buy food or pay rent instead, but I thought that was very short sighted Anyway, the 50/1.2 was a fantastic lens for shallow DOF and it just looked cool.
Looks like I've turned my Glock purchase into an assignment for Cabela's. I've shot for them before, the dusk store front that they use on a lot of their literature is one of mine. This assignment will be creatively lit product work of a myriad of firearms, pistols, rifles, scopes, ammo, kind of cool.
I was thinking today Jeff, He certainly has been considerably more faithful to me, than I have been to Him, blessed beyond measure and far beyond what I merit.
