I had the opportunity to spend the day in Austin, TX for the Formula One qualifying.
This motorsport photography thing is a different animal than shooting airplanes. I was really challenged by the views, and the movement of the cars, too many changes in speed and direction!
Zane, I think you should be pretty pleased with those. Great job. I have been hearing that COA doesn't offer many good spots to shoot from, but looks like you found a few.
Mark, I think Jim, Glenn, and Jo were giving it a try a couple years, the second year they changed the shooters' spots and they stopped going, if I remember right.

First of all: I really apologise for hiding during the last 3 months
I am involved in a 6 months training, I just go out at 7am and return back home at 9pm! Imagine the mood for a (fixed focus) guy! I even do not see and play with my bunny except on Saturdays!
We miss you too, Anwar. Hopefully the end is in sight for the end of that training.
