I'm telling ya, we could write book with all the funny stories we've experienced here. One of the most touching was a guy who wrote me to tell me that he was a single Dad, raising a special needs child. He didn't have the time, or the money to continue with his photography and he was pretty much house bound taking care of his son. He went on to say that he didn't know what he would do if he didn't have MA2A , the people and the experiences, it was his window to the world. Talk about humbling and sobering.
I knew from early on that this was about much more than photography. We've had a few bumps along the way, and a couple of boneheads that tried to derail us, but all of you and the spirit you created here would never provide oxygen for them and they slithered away. Proud of you all, the people that you are, here and in life, this is a very rare group.

Could not agree more Jim. I do not know of a better grouping of photography talent than the guys/and gals on this thread. More than great photographers they are great people.

Geeze J-A, did you really walk off with the guy's pants or did you just take his genes??
Jup ripped my pants exiting the B25 after a photo flight.
We were invited to a hangar party by one of Jim's relations.
But I wasn't very keen on going in with my ripped pants.
So Jim came to my rescue and picked one of his spare jeans from his Toyota.
Should have a photo somewhere but it was hilarious.

At least my jeans have made it to Europe.................
I was up to my ears in post processing and book work this afternoon when my phone rang.............."Papa, are you available........?" My discipline just goes out the window when that happens..................
