Nice work tho...And I have always loved the Phenom 300, got to go in a few last year to look at dash and interior.
.
Love the Black & Silver one above.
The new Ps tool, Generative Fill will cure that building problem! I have used it a few times and it is great when it works correctly!

Yesterday, for the first time ever, I shot a jet inside and out handheld. The R5II, in combination with the RF24-105Z made it possible, the stabilization in that lens is just remarkable.
That IBIS is what I need bad Jim!!!!
Great composition!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American FM friends! Many many things to be thankful for this year.....
Some shots from Monday. Interesting story I read, turkey was almost chosen as our national bird instead of bald eagle because Theodore Roosevelt didn't like the habits of bald eagles stealing preys from other eagles.
Great snap Eddie Ray, and no, he does not look that young/old at all, just a kid.
Looks like a lot of light on him which is good, almost like you used a flash but I'm sure he was way to far for that.
Bill, I was on the sideline as he ran toward me. I was using the 300mm. This particular stadium lighting is OK overall, however most of the light is concentrated between the 20 and 40 yard lines at each end. I believe this was nearer the 30 yard line so the side lighting from behind me was pretty perfect. I have never used a flash for sports and I am sure I might get run off the field if I did. Most of the ISO settings in other parts of the field are at 10,000 and above. I am glad I kept the 300 for these occasions.

I shot the jet with the R5II Digital IS "OFF", because it crops the frame slightly and I couldn't afford the loss. The RF24-105 Z has spectacular Image Stabilization. Most of my exposures were 1/5th of a second or lower at F/14, wouldn't have considered doing that with any previous camera. Truthfully Dan, you most likely need the R5 IBIS and a stabilized lens. I hate to recommend the R5, because the II is such an incredible tool, but if you ned IBIS, you need IBIS.

Dont hate any recommendation Jim! I have tremors and there is no getting around them unless I want to get a procedure recommended by "Ibawana"@Steve called: https://insightec.com/
I had an appointment for this in November but was cancelled by doctor until January'25.
Thanks Jim!

This Skyraider is thought to have fought in Korea with the USN's VC-35 between 1952 and 1953, before coming into service with the Armée de l'Air, France which received 133 from USN stocks. Stored at Châteaudun till the end of 1975, it was delivered to the Chad with five other Skyraiders by ex-French Air Force pilots to fight the Libyans who had infiltrated Chad. Abandoned at N'Djamena airport, it was rescued and flown back by AMPAA members in 1988 with stops in Niger, Algeria and Morocco to its new base at Melun-Villaroche and is maintained in its 1974 EAA1/22 marks.

Hope all of you have recovered from Thanksgiving and are back in the swing. I'm just putting the finishing touches on the house for Sheila's party tomorrow. Seems that my little Buddy passed on the upper respiratory thingy that he had going on last week, and I have the adult sized version, movin' a bit slow at the moment. Went to the Doc In The Box this afternoon just to make sure I didn't need something over and above what I was taking, ands I don't, just need 10-21 days R&R...like that is going to happen.
Happy to say that I am shedding a hangar in the next week, one less thing to worry about. I'm getting really tired of shuffling aircraft and worrying about keeping everyone happy. If I like how this feels, I might just pare it down to two. They sell so fast that no one even knows that they are available, and boom, a new airplane taxies in. I haven't met the gentlemen yet, but a fellow who bought one a while back just rolled up in his new Pilatus PC24, a real beauty.
Spent the better part of the day configuring and wringing out the C400, learned a bunch, feel good about the camera...............Here's a little ditty that I put together in some pretty challenging light................

I was looking through Facebook a little while ago and was stunned to see my R5II with the RF24-105 Z bolted on it in a post. Apparently I left it on a picnic bench at DFW this afternoon............ugh! A gentleman had a question about AF settings and I pulled it out of the car so I could help him, just have set it down and gone back to my C400............so dumb! A group of DFW Spotters found it, called DPS and gave it to them, then posted it on the website. I never would have know what happened to it.
