The US gov't is trying to shut them down with their usual pressure.
Don't shut them down, infiltrate to find out what they know. You know, do what "they" do!
Come on Ray! You don't give the govt any credit!! .....Turnabout is NOT fair play to Uncle Sam!!! They will blame this on the drone company or some other poor sap!
I worked for them for 40 years!!! Logic, outside my "chain of command", is NOT one of their gifts!!!

Nice red sunset there Jim-
.
And love the color version...
.
Looks like a knife pouch to me-
Hopefully a high-schooler doesn't have to walk around with a pistol all his life.

Heh it is Texas! But then again, today(who really knows when or where something violent might happen), it is the "unkown".
My Boy Scout motto was "Be Prepared"..Today that enhances a whole new meaning!

They go to high school out in a rural community where neighbors are neighborly, and people respect each other, it's like stepping back 40 years. Really hits you just how far we have declined.

Nobody smiles back here Jim!
Being obnoxious and "out there" is the norm here!
My Canon guy is meeting me at Wings Over Houston with a few cases of gear. I'm going to fiddle with the Rf100-300/2.8 a bit, the reviews are just over the top. They should be for $9500. As I recall, 300mm is a tad short for a lot of airshow work, but it could well be a perfect focal length for a lot of other subjects. The sharpness and contrast in the images that I have seen from the lens border on 3D.
I met with my pool people to go over some display print selections with them and walked out of the gathering with 8 more pools added to the list. I'm not sure that we have enough growing season to pull that off, but we'll see. Most of these pool owners have landscape companies that are constantly swapping out seasonal landscape for them so the sites always looks pretty great.
Hey...Every kid should have a pocket knife !!!
.
Love the yard/pool shots Jim, just gorgeous, and how people have a nice house and take care of their place and actually mow the lawn...
The youngsters on the road is a beautiful capture.
As to the knife, I have noticed more and more young men in certain areas and certain professions carrying knives on their belts. It always makes me smile.
My granddad taught me that a man should always have a blade with them. One never knows if a task should appear that only a solid knife could tackle. Whether it's for self-protection against all manner of critters or an errant tree branch or to escape a seatbelt. Of course, it could it something really serious like whittling a stick or opening a package for your girl.

Sorry I miss-identified the holster, I am on my 13" screen and it looked like there was more hiding under his shirt.
When I was in 7th-12th grade most guys carried a pocket knife. They did have rules about the blade length, I think 5 inches. There were times when a teacher might ask if someone had a pocket knife to open a box or cut something if they didn't have scissors.
