No, he has about 20 hours of taxi time and we have gone over and over all the safety rules and regs. We double check belts and control clearances several times in preflight. He has a clear grasp on the to do and not to do things. I’ve also gone over any case where I am incapacitated in a forced landing, not a happy thought but necessary. He is to unbuckle and get as far from the plane as he can and let the chips fall where they may. I take this extremely seriously . All of his flights so far are within reach of a runway and my people in the tower know that he is on board.

Nice and sharp, Chas! I wouldn't have noticed the passenger's head if you hadn't mentioned it.
Leaving the house at 2:00 AM on Saturday to be at the gate by 8:45 at MACS Cherry Point. Are you going? I think this will be the longest day trip ever for me to do for an airshow, 750 miles round trip. I will be driving 13 hours that day. But the lineup is worth it..
Douglas, I so much wish I were!!! But I am heading out very early on Sunday for a week of meetings on the west coast. I had made arrangements with one of my brothers to attend, but then this came up. So maybe some time in the future! But thanks for thinking of me!! If you ever are in the Raleigh area, please PM me.

Not something you guys see from me very often, but I think this one is worthy...........
That image brought to mind an illustration "puzzle" from my childhood. It was an illustration very similar to this image, with the instructions to try and find the Indian (sorry, "Native American") and his pony in the image. I remember it took a while but eventually I found them. Don't know why, but my first instinct was to try and "find the Indian" upon seeing this post.
I find that G-locks grip angle takes a bit of getting used to...not as natural as Browning's idea.
But...once you get it down, the work very well. I think of them as a hammer...ugly tool, but it works every time.
Then there's the 'clones' This is Palmetto State Armory's take on the Gen 3. It's got a bit better grip angle, it's cheap and has been 100% reliable through several hundred rounds. The G-lock has stayed at home ever since this came to town... The Dagger is an amazing bit of kit.
Thank you Dan. That was a beautiful spot just north of Durango Colorado. I had wrapped up an assignment in the area and took a day to breathe, it was wonderful.
I'm burning the midnight oil editing videos for a Charitable Foundation client of mine. I sure am glad Ross Perot goaded me into the video arena, it has been both challenging and lucrative.

The Blues in a Texas sky..................
Lovely Texas sky with those louds, Jim! I will see them tomorrow at MCAS Cherry Point, then twice at the Naval Academy (rehearsal and show) in 2 weeks, that will be all the BA shows I can see this year. Was going to see them on Long Island on Memorial Day weekend and in Sept in Oceana, but have other travel plans. I may have a little fun project in June even though the big Danish Air Force Show got postponed until next year. Don't want to jinx it...

Douglas...FYI This Saturday! https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/4654748-dozens-of-planes-to-fly-over-national-mall-to-celebrate-aviation/
Dozens of planes to fly over National Mall to celebrate aviation!
“Heads up! Be aware that Saturday, 5/11, around noon, 60 planes representing the history of general aviation will fly down the Potomac and over the National Mall,” the National Park Service (NPS)
I just returned from Frederick Airport. Weather will NOT be cooperating per FAA! AWC(Av. Weather Crt) has a restricted "fly" forecast for today and tomorrow at KFDK.
