Hahhh! I thought I recognized Arnold's Loop, on the old WP. Still love the fish eye shot taken in Wagon Mound, that shot made me buy a fisheye last year.

Yeah that shot does kind of sell the lens.. It's one of my all time favorites.
Thanks on the images guys I'll post more later =-)
They took the shop crew, out , gave them shovels, and put them to work, removing snow, from the depot. Panic sat in, when the roof fell at our supermarket, so they decided, to work on the depot. There has been over 155 inches of snow, so far, and it's not done.
Hope we can still open the line, for opening day, Memorial Day.

Wow! That is some snow you have there. My Mom lives in New Mexico and it amazes me how much it snows there. I always thought of New Mexico as a warm place because it's so far south. However, when you get down by the Mexico border even there the altitude is 4,500 above sea level. My Mom is 30 miles from the Mexican border in Deming and she said it was 16 degress there this morning. It's just hard for me to comprehend because it's nothing but desert there.
We are 7680, in the Lower San Juans. So far this year has been the worst snow in 30 years, Snow, has let up, and now it's just cold. Thanks for looking Bryan.
Tom
We got 22 inches yesterday which stopped all traffic on the nearby highways but it did not stop the trains. More images of the day's activites is at www.rochelletrainpark.com
Bryan, you sure get around out there. And awful close to some of those trains. Did you get any snow on you in the BNSF splash? Keith, awesome shots too. I really like Mojave and AMtrak #6. The Fisheye one is really cool too.
I was out tonight shooting trains and got this great shot of the Rochelle Train Park with a Union Pacific Intermodal train blowing out the Carbon. I used a 50mm Canon lens set at 400 ISO with a 11 second exposure.

I recropped this shot, added more blue added more contrast and straightened it a little. What do you think?
Bryan
Bryan these types of shots are really hard to get right, the different colors of stray light can really play games with the sensor. I think the hardest thing to do in this case is making sure the image looks the same as when it was taken. You on the right track though, no pun intended.
