This was taken on a rather gloomy New England day, but I like the wide angle view of our notoriously psychotic cairn terrier, Fanny. Her tennis ball is just out of the frame. For those that know Fanny, they know that a tennis ball is NEVER more than a foot or so away from her at all times.

Raymond, does Carlos like crazy girls ?

I like crazy girls ...

Anyway, one for today: I thought of some old technology themes and heck, a 486 is Old technology, lol. Here it is, shot on a D1, Micro Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 Auto nonAi, Cool White Energy Saving Flourescent Lamp (lol), BR2, K2/K3 extension rings, ReyGay VR / Pano Head. The image below is composed of 6 images stitched together using PTgui. No PP, bluish tone came from light source.

My crazy carin dude, Mo Dale, would love Fanny (as long as she let him think he is the boss)! He is getting a little old and cranky but still crazy. Love the shot and your girl!

Here's her royal highness with aforementioned tennis ball. She'll wait like this for HOURS until someone comes around to play with her....which explains the ice beard. She's as wacky as they come.....

PS - those who claim the 70-300 VR is soft must have a bad copy. Under the right circumstances, I get phenomenal results with this lens.

Terriers are not physcotic; just somewhat independent in attaitude and personality
But they are the greatest fun. (sorry Carlos; yes you could well be the exception)

As a member of the Commonwealth I just have to say... hearing of a dog called "Fanny" cracks me up! That name has very different connotations where I come from
