I'm enrolled in the single photography class Augsburg offers, so I have access to the Darkroom and hence B&W film shooting is now a possibility for me.. As some of you may know, money is tight for college students, but I managed to pick up a battery grip and 135 f/2.8 AI for my mother's Nikon N80. The lens doesn't meter and doesn't auto focus, so sports shooting is a bit of a challenge, but a few turned out.
The process for these shots are:
Film:
1/500, f/2.8, 400 speed film pushed one stop
Development:
15 minutes in the developer (Sprint Standard)
I really hate seeing this thread slip down to the second page... it's sacreligious... so while these aren't earth-shattering shots, here's a couple snaps using the paperweight D40 and 18-200VR lens on a recent golf trip to Santee SC...
Teein' off on the 18th at Santee National (beautiful setting for an 18th)...
OK, not a great shot... but funny to me... no tripod, night shot on the course... had the camera braced against our barbeque with my hands for 30 seconds... I must not have been drinking coffee that day...
