incredible stuff... congrats for reaching that level...
Enjoyable look at the site Jack, thanks for sharing...
My favorite shot has to be the Mickelson "concentration" shot... you have really captured a lot of great focus/determination/expression type shots in the opening slideshow, and I like the general layout of the site.
The standard of pics around here is getting pretty high, especially Reys blowfly. Wow,
Anyhow, having spent an afternoon wandering somewhat aimlessly I found myself heading toward a pub when I snapped this scene.
Quite liked it despite lack of DOF and played around a bit with while converting with Bibble. A few comments please. I ve got to learn sometime
Cheers
Tim
PS
For those of you who might have missed it, have a look on the landscape forum for the thread "Does a train count as a landscape?" taken by some lucky dude with his new D3

Thanks for the pointer, I hadn't seen it and it is a great image. Your photo is nice too.

What a loss ...
Attended a friends wedding last night at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Oh. and had a chance to play with my D300 and 10.5mm in a very colorful room. I don't get to Cleveland very often so it was a great opportunity to do some shooting.
This shot was done with an Sb-800 as a slave...triggered with the on-camera flash set to 'Off' trigger only. Shot at ISO 2000, 10.5mm fisheye, 1/13th sec. @ f2.8 hand held. I dragged the shutter to allow the room lighting to contrubute. I cropped out some of the clutter on the sides only.
And from a similar time of year 12 months ago.
You have no idea how much I hate the cold and that fat white rain that comes with it.
