The second shot is Comet McNaught which was in our skies earlier this year. Was taken in pretty light polluted skies so it was a bit of a gargantuan effort in post processing to get something good out of the shots taken. Lemme just say that Noiseware Pro is really really really good...
hey Jorgen,
Dont you just love Indochine? The smells, the colours and of course the people.
Your pic has just started all those juices that drive travel in me running again.
great shot

Shux, the images here are getting better ...not to mention some eye candy stuff from the other guys...nice tiger shot Nikt and to the other guys, keep it up (I lost track of the names that I'm supposed to mention) and make sure it's better than those found on the Canon forum ...
The Canon thread has died. I even tried myself on the occasion to resurrect it when it was slipping, but it's just not popular enough over there it seems.
They really needed a sticky on that one over there. Here.... well, we have the photographers!

A pity as they had some fabulous images. To be fair the Canon board is a much more active one and it's easier for a thread to slide off the front page and thus be forgotten. It's happened to this one a couple of times too.
It's true, I know. It can be on page two after 3 hours (just a bit of tongue-in-cheek from me). Nevertheless, I was hoping they could have tried to keep it going with the greater number of users there.
Loving the variety of images we've seen. I think its inspired a few (at least me), to think about some subjects to go snap. There is balance in the force!

i even posted a picture in the canon thread. Maybe that's why the thread died :worried:
