I have not (yet) figured out how to capture sunsets. The light might have improved if I waited a bit longer, but when the howling wind blew my heavy tripod onto two legs I decided it was time to warm up in the car. What I really need is a picturesque, and preferably tropical, ocean to use as a reflector.
Sunday night dinner - carnitas, arroz verde, and zucchini with corn, tomato, and chile Poblano strips. This was the first test of my budget lighting set-up, made from a cut-up cardboard box, white fabric, and two daylight fluorescent lights. I hope to never take pictures under the stovetop halogen lights again.
