Hi Tim.

It was taken in a walk-through aviary in Hong Kong. It's huge and has around 600 birds - a great place to take pictures.

Some of my old film stuff. All were scanned on my Nikon LS40 ED which is calibrated using IT8.7 targets from http://www.targets.coloraid.de . There are no post processing and cropping on all images. I wanted it to be as pure as possible. VIVA E6 film!!!

Zichar, yes -- single light only. I had a Paul C. Buff Einstein inside a 50" softbox and mounted up slightly higher than the filly's head. I also had to crank up the ISO to 400 to increase sensitivity, as the filly was not close enough to the softbox.
