This is why you want to go with slim filters like the ones from B+W. The larger ring will cause vignetting, especially on wide-angle lenses. Nice photo by the way.
Edit: The Hitech ones fit into the Cokin system? That's the problem. The Cokin filter holder can jut out too far on wide-angle lenses. I think they say the P-System is only good up to about 28mm. Anything wider and it will cause vignetting. Looks like you were shooting at 12mm + crop factor = 18mm which explains the problem.

A perfect example of the unique look of peripheral bokeh when used full frame, thanks for posting this, I like the way the out of focus details roll off in the corners, far less sterile.
I'm sorry but I cannot look at the 'bokeh' or the peripheral angle of the dangle...

Puppies are notorious for having worms, plus of course they are always licking their private parts... I'm sorry but I do not rate that picture at all
Please folks do not do that at home and do NOT let animals lick your face.. I know this one isn't and I guess the roles are reversed
The locks are part of the old Miami-Erie Canal system, normally it's just a grassy area. First time I've seen enough water in here to flow like this after the recent rain storms we've had.
BTW... how do my colors look? I calibrated my Dell 23" UltraSharp but the colors are more contrasty than on my macbook.. let me know if they look off...
