Crazy shot Zaitz, love'em! I cannot follow those, so instead I will post some my wife took last year with her D40 and 18-200. I was also curious, are you using filters for your work or using software filters?

Wow! Thanks for the comments! For that photo I did not use any filters but I did spend some time in CS5 like all my photos. It really was as simple as some nice backlighting, black and white+orange filter, dodging and burning, and toning it.

lol, thanks guys. I was happy how it turned out like that. I had a few shots with the focal point reversed but the close dogs eyes and head were just out of focus.
