Great work, dj. The first one has more energy to it, the second is a bit more calm.

Hey thanks Josh... similar post to both, but obviously the fish and the 28-75 render a scene differently. Cheers!

Zaitz: Absolutely stunning. Can I ask to see that in B/W?

It's either better in color than B/W or would need some adjustments in the tones. Either way, it's a spectacular image .

Zaitz, you are a one-man advertising committee for that lens.

Yeah, no kidding... I am pretty much ready to pull the trigger on that one and I wouldn't be doing that until I saw Zaitz' work using that lens.

I agree with that. I always do a b&w edit of my shots just to see how they look but preferred the color version of this one.

It's been working really well and I am getting better with MF. I don't pull it out for moving subjects much but it's my go to lens when using the kenko tubes and if I had to do portraits I think it'd work great. I don't photograph people much though.

rsolti13 wrote:
Zaitz, is that the Rokinon? Great shot

Yup and thanks! The 135 doesn't work that well, for me, with the kenko tubes. The 50mm just gets too close for my liking. The Rokinon is sharp at small apertures even though it seems optimized for wide open use.

Thanks. I don't have anything bad to say about it yet. I got a step up ring, polarizer, 77m cap, and a screw in hood that works great. It's just really surprising how well it works.

I used all 3 kenko tubes stacked for that shot and most of my recent ones. The fern was pretty small so I had to get in tight.

Zaitz, which screw in hood did you find?
