Great combo, cheap, easy to bring along and it will get everything done paired with the 35 f/1.8!

On Flickr I have been getting advice to crop out the ceiling. For me, I think I like the balance allowed without the crop and keeping the subject in the center (against Commandment 3rd).

*Edited- Added a small compromise crop to the ceiling. Thanks for the advice!

I agree with cropping out the ceiling. It adds nothing to the shot and draws your eye away from the silhouette. My 2c.

Nah, I like the ceiling . Think it adds to the mood of the shot.
