Are they ? Great, that's their purpose. It was for a themed challenge in another forum.
But the question remains, what is the statement you were trying to make? Is the purpose just to present a shock value, or for you to salivate from any response, or is it some abstract artistic point? Inquiring minds want to kno why the girl is appearing dead, some other female holding a bloody knife and a unfazed expression on her face?
I am not sure what to think about 'shock art' or art that seeks a response so the creator of it can ejaculate. Not sure about any of that.

I think that if you had provided some context prior to posting the images, people here would be a little more forgiving. I am not necessarily offended by the images, but I think you could of been a little more tactful for your first post.
