OK, I have quite a few as I haven't posted here in ages. All of these are from my recent trip to Corfu. All taken with my D300 and either 18-70mm or Sigma 10-20. Started to really like the vignetted look so I added a lot to some of these.

Am really enjoying the 85 1.8D on my D700. I was afraid I would find the focal length too short, but I'm actually enjoying the dof so much that I'm just using my feet to make up the extra reach ;-)
I actually shot one shot with matrix metering and because of the bright background , the camera thought oh no, don't want to blow the whole out the highlights to hell and gone, lets expose as a whole, and let Greg bring the subject out in post. Second I saw the result of the first shot, quick as a flash ( :-D ), swapped to Spot metering, and got a better shot than the first (better pose). Who says street/candid photography just get you dirty looks? ;-) Granted I was wearing my 'birthday best', and didn't do what I normally do, which is to act as if I haven't realised that the person knows I've just taken their photo (turning away and avoiding eye contact and generally looking suspicious). Instead, I took a second shot, smiled at her, and showed her the photo, to which she replied, very cool. :-) My my what a little bit of confidence can do :q
