I've seen so many great photos in here I hate to even contribute. But just the same, that's one of the reasons why we shoot. So here is a shot I did last September of a sunset in Southern California. It was taken from my front lawn looking towards the ocean. The file is the JPEG straight out of the camera, resized for the web. Maybe not up to the standards set in this thread, but I ran across it last night and thought I would post it just the same.
Can we send our film to you Marco so you can scan it in for us on that drum scanner. I just bought a film scanner today, don't think its up to the quality of a drum, but it sure will be fun!

it wasn't my own drum scanner !
Every scan costed me about 40 € each !!
It was over six years ago and one of the reasons why I decided to get my first digital reflex.
But even today it's still hard to approach the great tonal range of these scans...
Oh I knew that Marco. It was a bit of tongue-in-cheek! But you are correct, still hard to match the tonal range of scans. But there's a whole thread about that elsewhere. Lets get back to the pics.
