Thank you for the compliments. This Screwpile Lighthouse can be found in Chesapeake Bay, not far from Annapolis, MD. At one time, this type of lighthouse was common in Chesapeake Bay. I wish I could remember it's name, but this one is still active, though no one lives on it any longer.
D700, 24-70/f2.8 @ f9, 1/500s, ISO 500 and shutter priority. No filter. Taken from a slow moving boat on light seas (wind had dropped quite a bit from earlier in the day). Fair amount of PP using NX2 color control points and some levels and curves.
