hey thanks! glad you enjoyed the shot; there are a lot of hdr critics out there that don't approve of the high-contrast processing that has become popular lately..
omeega - that is a fantastic shot, and excellent post processing. the sky reflections in the windshield are a bit distracting, and could be minimized somewhat, but otherwise you have demonstrated mastery of HDR image control.

My wife shot this with her D-40 while we were in Atlantis last year. And they wonder why I don't like to go into the water. I don't know what the wing span on this ray was but I wouldn't want to meet him in his natural habitat.

Come on, these are very gentle creatures! Nice shot!
that was a StingRay and they only react when irrated. I have swam with StingRays many times without them so much as flickering at my presence. Steve's death was highly unusual.
Manta rays like these in the picture are huge, but harmless. more chance of you drowning from forgetting to breath while watching these wonderful Rays than being hurt by one.
So many Excellent images , I can only stare at them in aww ..
This is one of mine that I can say ,,, came out decent , considering the morning sun and I was hanging on a fence .
Sorry about the size .
I've seen too many @ss shots already from one guy at Flickr ~ he's a porn / fashion photographer from Miami, Florida . Nice "behind" shots btw!
Anyway, here's some new material. I got inspired by the issues regarding people lusting for the best photo gear but using it below its potential and somehow it rhymes with the use of our male manhood . Well, I used Lego instead, to be safe .
Nikon D1X, Nikkor 35mm f/2 nonAi, K1 extension ring, 2 Flourescent Lamps, SB28, ReyGay Flash Diffuser, Coloured Gels (blue). No post processing, no cropping.

Appperently, the message I was trying to convey on the image is: starting from the guy on the left, he was shocked that "his" was smaller than the guy with a 7 foot manhood . The white storm troppers at the background were whispering to each other, back stabbing the guy with a tiny manhood and the yellow guy, simply wanted to pose for the camera while pointing at that massive manhood ~ his 5 minutes of fame I suppose ...some have a different interpretation ~ they say the yellow guy was about to "touch & harrass" the owner of the massive manhood (hence he tried to avert it) but realized they were being photographed, so he posed for a moment on the lens wearing a guilty smile .
