I think it must be the "spirit" in the stone.

This cemetery statue must have had a malevolent spirit. It looks a bit evil to me, don't you think? Or does it give a different impression?

Pardon this travesty, this canon intrusion, but all these great kid shots are making me sentimental.

This is one of my favorite shots of all - my daughter at age four, proud as can be of the first time she had her hair "done"

Probably not the best, but i liked the way this turned out. Quite noisy though shooting at ISO 1600 with a D40

the rays of light that streak across the sky are spectacular.

you could have fooled me, it almost looks like a tilt-lens.
